I bought this as a gift for my mother...and almost had to get another for me. Wish I could remember the things I read. Still, what I learn beats watching TV! I'm sure a lot of editorial concern goes into it, but for entertainment it is something of a random walk through facts about the world. Also got the New York Times version, and the two complement one another.
